Kanye West is a Gay Fish?
On the latest South Park, Jimmy writes an infamous joke about Fishsticks (“Do you like fishsticks? Yes. You like putting fishdicks in your mouth? Yes. Well what are you, a gay fish?). The joke becomes the next big thing since fresh bread, having late night talk show hosts Letterman, Leno and O’Brien saying the joke on their shows. However, one person does not get the joke–Kanye West, which enrages him, even going so far as having a press conference to say that he is not a fish or gay.
Once Kanye and his crew runs into Jimmy and Cartman, they tie the two jokesters. Right before Kanye beats them up to a bloody pulp, Cartman talks him out of it, making Kanye realize that it’s okay to be who he really is–a gay fish. The show ends with one classic comedic song. In real life, Kanye West took the joke pretty well, saying on his official blog that it was pretty funny and it did hurt his feelings but what do you expect from South Park? He then went on to say that he has been checking his massive ego, hoping to humble himself so that jokes like this won’t exist. If you wish to read his comments word for word, you can read them HERE.
I must admit, it is hilarious. South Park is known to go to the extreme with its crass humor so it’s not surprising that the scene will take it there as well. It is also nice to know that Kanye ate that humble pie on this one and laughed in spite of himself. I don’t care what anyone says, I love Kanye for his ability to admit his complexities and flaws to the world with no shame. It is one of the qualities of his music that I’ve always liked and it’s great to see his honesty displayed here. I wish him well on his betterment of self.
In the meantime, I’m going to be listening to this Gay Fish song. It sounds like Kanye should take note and maybe take his next record to this direction. Hey, this song could be a hit.

could life get any odder than southpark becoming reality?
yeah umm, if you knew anything about Kanye you would know the gay fish song was written over one of Kanye’s real life songs, which makes it that much more hilarious
I know it’s based from one of his songs from his 808s. I know my Kanye playa. lol I was saying it would be funny if Kanye made an entire parody album of himself. Might be a bestseller. Who knows?
